Japanese style feels peaceful and relax. When applying into interior design, lightness and wooden were the materials. So, all furnitures in the room using lightness wooden to maintain the feels remain in peace and relaxing.

The Different of Open Studio
Most of the open studios are small with no room. If separate into three single area, they totally different. The areas will become living room, bedroom and storage.

A dual purpose storage platform is more suitable for a open studio. When it open, it is a storage. When it close, it is a living room.

As the bedroom area isn’t open up in the open studio. The privacy is sufficient for personal area.

Rather than darkness, lightness is better for a relaxing home. Mostly, darkness presenting negative emotions which is too heavy. So, furniture, in lightness, feeling relaxing for Japanese style.
